All of these can be used to describe Howard Ziment, the Chairman of The Ziment Group. The industry has recognized this leadership and vision as well. In 2003 the Pharmaceutical Market Research Group (PMRG) awarded him the industry's highest accolade and their lifetime achievement award –The R.R. Fordyce Award– in recognition of "contributions that are distinguished by excellence, innovation and integrity". He was also named one of the Top 100 Inspiring People in the pharmaceutical industry in 2006 by Pharma Voice magazine.

The Ziment Group is a collection of companies dedicated to conducting pharmaceutical\healthcare marketing research worldwide. The group includes Ziment, All Global, All Global Viewing, imap Research and Consumer Health Sciences. Today it is one of the top three healthcare marketing research brands in the world. The firm was privately held until 2001, when it was acquired by Kantar, the information and consultancy division of WPP, one of the world's largest marketing services organizations.

Since Ziment joined the company in 1987, in has grown from a four person operation to span the globe, including over 20 offices throughout the USA, London, Paris, Stuttgart and Barcelona. He has spoken at numerous conferences around the world and has published thought leading articles and has been widely quoted in all of the pharmaceutical industry leading trade publications

Ziment holds a BS in Marketing from Georgetown University. He currently resides in San Diego, CA with his wife Judy and his two young daughters, Melanie and Lauren. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the La Jolla Country Day School, enjoys coaching his daughters' soccer and softball teams and is an avid golfer.
